‌Traction Coil‌
As an electromagnetic linear actuator coil, the traction coil generates linear pull-in force when energized to pull mechanical structures. The most typical application in home appliances is the drain traction device and clutch traction device of fully automatic washing machines: when the washing machine needs to drain water, the coil is energized and pulled in, opening the drain valve or switching the clutch state through a cable to realize drainage and dehydration functions. In addition, traction coils are also widely used in the inlet/drain valves of dishwashers, flush solenoid valves of smart toilets, and actuators of automatic laundry detergent dispensing boxes. These coils need to operate for a long time in humid, weakly corrosive environments, with high requirements for sealing & waterproof performance and insulation resistance. They also demand stable pull-in force and extremely long actuation life. Zhongshan Eternal provides customized winding services for waterproof or standard traction coils, adapting to different stroke and suction force specifications.

I. Common Winding Types for Traction Coils

  1. Dense Multi-layer Winding
Wound tightly layer by layer on a cylindrical bobbin, widely used in washing machine drain traction devices, dishwasher inlet valves and other scenarios. It requires compact winding with zero inter-turn overlapping to guarantee stable pull-in force.

  2. Waterproof Sealed Winding
After winding, the entire coil is subjected to vacuum varnish impregnation or injection molding encapsulation, for humid environments (such as washing machines and smart toilets). During winding, reserved lead wire length and sealing positions are pre-set to facilitate subsequent glue potting.

  3. Dual-coil Parallel Winding
Two identical coils are wound in parallel on the same bobbin, for high-suction traction coils, which can reduce the driving voltage or increase the holding force. The production line must wind the two coils synchronously to ensure fully consistent parameters.

II. Advantages of Automated Traction Coil Production Lines

  1. High Pull-in Force Consistency
The pull-in force of a traction device is directly related to the coil's ampere-turns. Automated production lines precisely control turn count and wire diameter, paired with resistance testing, to ensure minimal batch-to-batch pull-in force fluctuation and highly reliable actuation.

  2. High Efficiency for Mass Production
Home appliance traction devices have an extremely large annual consumption volume. Yite's multi-axis production lines deliver an output of thousands of units per day, and integrated with automatic loading/unloading and soldering functions, drastically reduce labor costs.

  3. Integrated Waterproof Treatment Support
We provide an integrated "winding + varnish impregnation/injection molding" solution. After winding, the coil is automatically transferred to the varnish impregnation or injection molding equipment, eliminating coil deformation or contamination caused by manual handling.
